What do you like to do in your spare time, family and home life? In my spare time, I enjoy putting the pieces together and doing a lot of crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Bringing people together is also a big part of what matters at home and outings, keeping me surrounded by family. Travel with my wonderful wife Vickie includes introducing my children and grandchildren to new cultural experiences. Always been a teacher and a mentor.

What do you like to do in your spare time, family and home life? I enjoy travelling internationally and gaining insight on the world with girlfriend and family. This new perspective includes learning about the culture in other parts of the world – food, art, history, life-views and how other peoples find balance in their lives. Tell me something most people would not know about you: I understand facing challenges firsthand. As a child, I had to overcome dyslexia to learn how to read and write.

REBECCA HICKS

Rebecca is responsible for overseeing finances, planning, projections and management of all of HH&A assets. These include payroll, payables & receivables, and, of course, the company’s human resources. She is also key in maintaining master files and communications with clients and candidates.

Tell me something most people would not know about you: I expect a lot from myself and personal growth is most important. Each morning I set an intention. I write it down on a sticky note. The sticky note travels from room to room with me while I begin my day. The intention is to always do better. Learn from yesterday. Move forward. And for me, doing better is centered around being the best Mom that I can be to my two amazing children.

We enjoy the simple things in life; like taking our kids (and our yellow lab, Moose) to the beach to swim, fish, or play beach volleyball. Tell me something most people would not know about you: I have a mentally challenged brother, Bryan. At 6 months old, he was diagnosed with Spinal Meningitis and had 2 neurosurgeries by the age of one. Bryan lives with my amazing parents, whom have devoted their life to caring for his special needs. I admire my mom and dad greatly and absolutely adore my brother. Our family wouldn’t change a thing!

Working with a lead consultant, Kate partners with clients to gather company information, candidate requirements and cultural needs. Kate then identifies and interviews candidates to determine their potential alignment and interest in the position, recruiting them into the process. Linda’s role is to find, evaluate and present potential candidates to the search team. To do this she manages and navigates an extensive database of over 12,000 potential candidates. For each search, it requires knowledge of the particular executive function and the client’s industry. Online resources include business and periodical databases, LinkedIn and other industry-related sites.

What do you like to do in your spare time, family and home life? I am a reader – all roads seem to lead to books. When not reading, I spend time going to plays, art museums, exhibits, concerts, and movies, with friends and family – anything to do with the arts. Also, walking, yoga, and fine dining.

Tell me something most people would not know about you: I am interested in making small books with simple structures, such as an accordion book – there are many variations that can be created. I have currently finished a small book of poems, written by my eight-year old niece. I would like to do one of these for each family member. Think of it as somewhere in between a drawer full of pictures and an elaborate photo album – and with text.
